Minty relief: menthol may ease COPD breathlessness

Summary
This study tests whether inhaling menthol can quickly reduce shortness of breath in healthy adults and people with COPD. Researchers will measure brain activity and breathing to understand how menthol works. 120 participants will compare menthol to a strawberry scent during breathing tests and exercise.
