Phone app aims to bridge mental health gap for indigenous youth
NCT ID NCT05991154
Summary
This study is testing whether a smartphone app called JoyPop can help Indigenous young adults (ages 18-25) manage difficult emotions like stress, anxiety, and depression while they wait for formal mental health services. Researchers will compare the app's effects to usual waitlist care. The goal is to see if this accessible tool can provide support during a vulnerable time.
