First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether combining a memory retraining technique (KF-mSMT) with aerobic exercise and virtual reality can improve learning and memory in people with multiple sclerosis (MS). 78 participants with mild-to-moderate mobility disability will be enrolled. The approach focuses on behavioral interventions, not medication, and aims to enhance everyday memory and brain function.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
memory retraining technique (KF-mSMT) and aerobic exercise with virtual reality
What this could lead to
If it works, this could point toward a non-drug way to improve memory and learning for people with MS.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage study (78 people) testing a behavioral intervention, so results may not apply to everyone. It is not a cure or disease-modifying treatment.
