Summary
This study tested a program called MEMORI Corps, where trained older volunteers spend time with people who have dementia, doing fun and meaningful activities together. The goal was to see if this companionship could reduce loneliness, improve quality of life, and ease stress for both the person with dementia and their family caregiver. The study included 175 people and compared those who received the program to those on a waiting list.
