Summary

This study tests whether adding a chemotherapy drug (melphalan) injected directly into the eye can help treat a childhood eye cancer called retinoblastoma, especially when tumor seeds are floating in the eye fluid. About 26 children with newly diagnosed retinoblastoma will receive standard chemo plus these eye injections. The goal is to see if this combination is safe and can better control the disease, potentially saving the eye.
