Heart-Saving hope: melatonin and vitamin d tested in breast cancer patients

Summary

This study looks at whether melatonin or vitamin D can help prevent heart damage in breast cancer patients receiving the chemotherapy drug doxorubicin. About 90 women will be randomly assigned to take melatonin, vitamin D, or a placebo alongside their cancer treatment. The goal is to see if these supplements reduce the risk of heart problems caused by doxorubicin.
