NCT ID NCT06768749
First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tests whether a lotion containing melatonin can improve sleep quality, mood, and anxiety in young adults with sleep problems and mild anxiety or depression. Sixty participants will wear a wrist monitor and heart rate strap, fill out surveys, and give saliva samples during two treatment weeks—one with melatonin lotion and one with a plain lotion. The goal is to see if melatonin absorbed through the skin can help regulate sleep and mental health without pills.
