Melatonin vs. placebo: which helps teens sleep?

Summary

This study looks at whether taking melatonin can improve sleep and daytime functioning in teenagers who have trouble falling or staying asleep. About 80 teens aged 13-17 will take either melatonin or a placebo for two weeks to see if their sleep gets better. The goal is to understand if melatonin is a safe and effective option for teens with sleep issues.
