Summary

This study is testing if a small dose of melatonin placed under the tongue can help older adults feel less anxious and more relaxed before cataract surgery. It will involve 60 participants aged 60 and over who are scheduled for this common eye procedure. The main goal is to see if this simple pre-treatment improves comfort and reduces stress-related physical responses during surgery.
