Fat-Immune cell talk may predict melanoma spread

NCT ID NCT07293598

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at how fat cells and immune cells interact in melanoma skin cancer to see if this can predict whether the cancer will spread. Researchers will examine tissue samples from 20 patients to check for a specific pattern they noticed in earlier work. The goal is to better understand what makes some melanomas more aggressive, not to test a new treatment.
