New pill combo targets deadly melanoma in the brain

Summary
This study is testing if two oral drugs, binimetinib and encorafenib, can help control melanoma that has spread to the brain or spinal fluid. It is for adults whose melanoma has a specific genetic change called BRAF V600 and has progressed after prior treatment. The main goals are to see if the treatment can stop the cancer from growing and to check how safe it is.
