Summary
This study tested a special stent (a small mesh tube) coated with a drug to treat blocked heart arteries in 591 people in China. The stent is placed during a procedure to open the artery and slowly releases medicine to prevent re-blockage. The goal was to see if the stent is safe and effective for controlling heart disease.
