Researchers probe why Life-Saving oxygen fails to reach patients

NCT ID NCT06169514

Summary

This study aims to understand why national plans to provide medical oxygen often don't work as intended in practice. Researchers will interview government officials, healthcare workers, and other stakeholders in six African and Asian countries over four years. The goal is to identify the real-world barriers and find practical solutions to get oxygen to patients who need it, particularly for conditions like pneumonia.
