Scientists use sensors to unlock secrets of ankle brace comfort
NCT ID NCT06127264
Summary
This study aims to test if special sensors can reliably measure the forces inside carbon fiber ankle-foot braces (AFOs). Researchers will recruit 60 participants, including healthy adults and people who regularly use AFOs with or without nerve damage. The goal is to gather data that could help improve future brace designs and provide better guidance to patients on how to wear them for comfort and effectiveness.
