New study aims to predict Alzheimer's years before symptoms start
NCT ID NCT07516119
First seen Apr 07, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a combination of genetic tests, blood markers, and data from wearable devices can predict early memory problems in people aged 55 and older who carry the ApoE4 gene, which raises Alzheimer's risk. Researchers will follow 100 participants for two years to see who develops signs of Alzheimer's-related brain changes. The goal is to improve early detection, not to test a treatment.
