First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looked at whether a type of talk therapy called Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) can help people who have had a liver transplant stick to their anti-rejection medication schedule and feel more motivated. 140 adult liver transplant recipients took part. The goal was to see if MBCT improves how well patients follow their lifelong drug plan, which is critical for keeping their new organ healthy.
