First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests a new dye called MB-102 for taking pictures of the back of the eye (retina) to diagnose conditions like diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration. About 10 adults with healthy or diseased eyes will receive both the new dye and a standard dye to compare safety and image quality. The goal is to see if MB-102 works as well as or better than the current dye.
