First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study uses MRI scans to look at the brains of 100 two-week-old babies. Researchers want to see if there are differences in brain structure and function between infants born to obese mothers and those born to normal-weight mothers. The goal is to understand how a mother's body composition might influence early brain development.
