First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study investigates if healthy young adults who usually drink little plain water feel thirstier after increasing their water intake for four weeks. Participants will drink about 2 liters of water daily to dilute their urine. The goal is to understand if the body adapts to chronic low water intake and to inform future drinking water guidelines.
