First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jul 07, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests whether playing a recording of a mother's voice during feeding helps preterm infants in the NICU. Researchers will measure oxygen levels, heart rate, breathing, and feeding skills in 50 infants. Half will hear their mother's voice; the other half will not. The goal is to see if this simple intervention can improve feeding and stability.
