This study looked at 33 patients who had both cancer and a bleeding disorder called immune thrombocytopenia (ITP). The goal was to see if cancer cells trick the immune system into attacking the body's own platelets. Researchers found that treating the cancer often helped the ITP get better, suggesting a strong link between the two conditions.
