New study aims to find best nerve block for mastectomy pain

Summary

This study compares two types of nerve blocks (SAP block and SPSIP block) to see which one provides better pain relief after mastectomy surgery. About 66 women having mastectomy will be randomly assigned to receive one of the blocks before surgery. The goal is to reduce pain, need for painkillers, and help patients recover faster.
