New drug could ease sleep apnea by helping weight loss

Summary
This study tests a new drug, maridebart cafraglutide, in 250 adults with obstructive sleep apnea who are overweight or obese and already use a breathing machine (PAP therapy). The goal is to see if the drug reduces breathing pauses during sleep and helps with weight loss over 52 weeks. Participants will receive either the drug or a placebo, and neither they nor their doctors will know which one they get.
