Researchers look back at safety of CMV drug in vulnerable kidney patients

Summary
This study aims to check the safety of the drug maribavir in adults who have had an organ or stem cell transplant, have a difficult-to-treat cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection, and also have severe kidney disease or kidney failure. Researchers will look at the existing medical records of about 10 patients who have already taken maribavir as part of their normal care. The goal is to gather information on side effects without giving any new treatment.
