First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study looked at how different types of manual therapy (hands-on treatment) affect balance, muscle properties, and foot flexibility in physically active adults aged 18-35 with flexible flat feet. 33 participants were split into three groups: one received joint-focused therapy, another soft tissue-focused therapy, and a control group received no treatment. The goal was to see which approach offers immediate benefits for people with flat feet who have no pain or other foot problems.
