Core strength may help flat feet — a trial puts it to the test
NCT ID NCT07734168
First seen Jul 29, 2026 · Last updated Jul 30, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This trial tests whether adding trunk (core) stabilization exercises to a standard foot exercise program can improve dynamic balance and foot function in young adults with pronated (flat) feet. Thirty participants aged 18–25 with bilateral flat feet will be randomly assigned to either core-plus-foot exercises or foot exercises alone. Balance and foot function will be measured before and after the program to see if core training offers extra benefit.
