Summary
This study looked at two ways to help older patients (65+) with head and neck cancer manage side effects during radiation and chemotherapy. One approach involved a geriatric specialist working with the cancer team, and the other provided extra supportive care guided by a geriatric expert. The goal was to see if these methods could reduce hospital stays and improve quality of life during treatment.
