Summary
This study aimed to test a small device placed in the inner ear during acoustic neuroma surgery to keep it from filling with scar tissue. If successful, patients who lose hearing from surgery could still get a cochlear implant later. The study was withdrawn before enrolling any participants, so no results are available.
