First seen Jun 03, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tested a new way to measure temperature inside the prostate using MRI. The goal was to help doctors better find and treat prostate cancer with laser therapy. Researchers studied 70 adults who were already getting a prostate MRI for diagnosis. The approach is still in early testing, so it's not yet ready for routine use.
