This study looks at whether taking magnesium supplements can improve muscle strength, muscle mass, and physical performance in older adults with sarcopenia (age-related muscle loss). Researchers will enroll 352 people aged 70 and older from Portugal. Participants with low magnesium levels will receive either magnesium or a placebo for 12 weeks to see if it helps their muscle health.
