First seen Apr 15, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looked at whether adding lymphovenous anastomosis surgery to complex decongestive physiotherapy (CDP) helps people with lymphedema after cancer treatment. 26 adults with stage 2 or 3 lymphedema were split into two groups: one received surgery plus CDP, the other received CDP alone. Researchers measured changes in limb volume, quality of life, and patient satisfaction to see if the combined approach works better.
