Summary

This study tests a drug called luspatercept in people with anemia from two conditions: myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) or beta-thalassemia. Participants need regular red blood cell transfusions. The goal is to see if the drug can safely reduce the number of transfusions they need. The study is for those who did not respond well to or cannot use standard treatments.
