Ultrasound after surgery could catch hidden breathing issues early
NCT ID NCT06824506
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether using lung ultrasound right after gallbladder surgery can find breathing problems like collapsed lung tissue (atelectasis) early. About 110 adults having laparoscopic gallbladder removal with low-flow anesthesia will be checked. The goal is to see if early detection helps doctors provide faster treatment, such as oxygen or breathing exercises.
