First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study compares two ways to perform double lung transplants: one without a heart-lung machine (off-pump) and one using a machine called VA ECMO. The goal is to see which method leads to fewer lung complications after surgery. About 228 people receiving double lung transplants will take part.
