Phone coaching boosts emotional health for lung transplant candidates

Summary

This study tests whether up to 12 phone-based health coaching sessions over 12-16 weeks can improve emotional health and self-management in adults waiting for a lung transplant. 230 participants will be compared to a group receiving usual care. The goal is to see if coaching helps people feel more in control and emotionally stronger before and after transplant.
