Summary

This phase 2 trial tests whether a combination of curcumin (from turmeric) and fish oil can reduce the size of lung nodules in former and current smokers aged 55 and older. Nineteen participants took the supplements or a placebo for 6 months. The study aims to see if the nodules shrink and if the treatment is safe.
