Scientists test 'Gas Camera' to see inside lungs

NCT ID NCT06038630

Summary

This study is testing a new type of MRI scan that uses a safe, inhaled gas to create detailed pictures of how well the lungs transfer oxygen to the blood. Researchers want to see how these pictures change in people with various lung and blood conditions, and in healthy volunteers, before and after treatments like blood transfusions or oxygen therapy. The goal is to learn if this scan can be a useful tool for understanding and monitoring these health problems.
