New strategy may boost lung tumor freezing success in High-Risk patients

This study tests a new approach for lung cancer patients who are at high risk of incomplete tumor freezing during cryoablation. Before the freezing procedure, doctors will block small blood vessels near the tumor using a temporary, absorbable material. The goal is to make the freezing more effective and reduce bleeding. The study involves 20 participants and will compare results with a control group over several months.
