Telehealth could boost lung cancer screening rates
NCT ID NCT06084078
First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether using telehealth (phone or video visits) can make lung cancer screening easier for people at high risk. Researchers will identify eligible adults aged 50-80 with a heavy smoking history, then offer them low-dose CT scans at a nearby center. The goal is to see if telehealth increases the number of people who get screened and catches lung cancer earlier.
