Blood test may spot lingering lung cancer earlier

NCT ID NCT07257458

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether a blood test that checks for specific DNA changes (methylation) can find leftover cancer cells after lung cancer surgery. About 30 people with non-small cell lung cancer will give blood samples before and after surgery for up to two years. The goal is to see if this test can predict if the cancer will come back earlier than standard methods, which could help doctors personalize follow-up care.
