First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study aims to create a decision aid for people with lung adenocarcinoma who need to decide whether to have molecular testing after surgery. Researchers will interview patients, family members, and doctors to understand what information is needed. The final tool will be tested with 190 participants to see if it helps patients and doctors make shared decisions.

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
What this could lead to
If successful, this could provide a tool to help patients and doctors make more informed decisions about molecular testing after lung cancer surgery.
What could go wrong
This is an early-stage study focused on developing and testing a decision aid, not on treatment outcomes. The tool may not change patient decisions or improve health results.
