Scientists test drug duo to outsmart aggressive lung cancer

Summary

This study is for adults with a specific type of advanced lung cancer (non-small cell) that has a mutation in the EGFR gene. It aims to see if adding a drug called ramucirumab to the standard drug osimertinib can help control the cancer for a longer time without it getting worse. About 160 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the two-drug combination or osimertinib alone.
