Digital platform and DNA analysis aim to personalize lung cancer care
NCT ID NCT05372081
First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This completed study in Greece enrolled 200 people with stage 4 non-small cell lung cancer. Researchers used genetic testing to map each tumor's unique features and gave half the patients access to a digital platform to report side effects. The goal was to see if combining personalized treatment, molecular profiling, and digital support could improve care and outcomes.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
What this could lead to
If successful, this could show how digital platforms and genetic profiling improve care and monitoring for advanced lung cancer patients.
What could go wrong
This is an observational study, not a treatment trial. It cannot prove that the digital platform improves survival or quality of life.
