New tool aims to give lung cancer patients a stronger voice in treatment choices

Summary

This study tests a conversation aid that helps lung cancer patients and their doctors make treatment decisions together. About 100 patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer will use the tool during appointments to see if it improves shared decision-making and satisfaction. The goal is to better support patients in choosing treatments that fit their needs and values.
