New blood test could be key to personalizing lung cancer care

NCT ID NCT07392073

Summary

This study aims to find out if a new blood test can predict which patients with advanced lung cancer will respond best to a standard combination of chemotherapy and immunotherapy. Researchers will measure specific immune cells in the blood of 80 patients before and during treatment to see if changes in these cells are linked to better outcomes. The goal is to develop a better tool to help doctors choose the most effective treatment for each person.
