First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study will look at how doctors currently diagnose lung and breast cancer by examining tissue samples. Researchers will also test new computer programs that use artificial intelligence to help read the samples faster and more accurately. The goal is to see if AI can improve the diagnosis process without replacing the human expert. About 600 adults with suspected lung or breast cancer will have their existing samples reviewed for this research.
