First seen Jun 11, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tested a new, fast blood test (LumiraDx D-Dimer) to see how well it detects blood clots in the legs (deep vein thrombosis) or lungs (pulmonary embolism). About 679 adults with symptoms of a clot took part. The test was compared to standard lab methods to check its accuracy. The goal is to help doctors quickly rule out dangerous clots.
