First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study tests whether a medicated patch (loxoprofen sodium) can safely reduce pain from shingles. About 750 adults with moderate to severe shingles pain will use the patch and report their pain levels. The goal is to find a topical option that works well with fewer side effects than oral painkillers.
