Could less radiation be enough for HPV throat cancer?

Summary
This study is testing whether a lower dose of radiation therapy, given over a shorter time, combined with standard chemotherapy works as well as the current higher-dose radiation treatment for people with HPV-positive throat cancer. The goal is to see if reducing radiation can still effectively control the cancer while potentially causing fewer side effects. Researchers will compare the two-year cancer control rates between the new lower-dose approach and the standard treatment.
