Gentler cancer treatment tested for frail myeloma patients
NCT ID NCT05145400
Summary
This study is testing a lower-dose version of a three-drug combination (isatuximab, lenalidomide, and dexamethasone) for people newly diagnosed with multiple myeloma who are older or frail. The goal is to see if using lower doses can effectively control the cancer while causing fewer and less severe side effects than the standard, higher-dose treatments these patients often cannot tolerate. Researchers will enroll about 50 participants to evaluate safety and how well the cancer responds.
